New blog! I'm so excited! I've always wanted a book blog and I finally got one going. Yay! Go me! Anyways, Here is my first official review:

I recently had the Pleasure of reading Sweet Evil And Sweet Peril By Wendy Higgins. I'll start by giving you the Book Synopsis:
What if there were teens whose lives depended on being bad influences? This is life for sons and daughters of fallen angels in Sweet Evil. Tenderhearted Southern girl, Anna Whitt, was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage, and her will-power is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna. A cross-country trip to meet her father forces Anna to face the reality that hope and love are not options for her kind. When she confronts her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?
Let me start by telling you that I stayed up all night to finish the first, and lucky me, Sweet Peril came out the day after I read Sweet Evil. I again stayed up all night to read it. I COULD NOT PUT THESE BOOKS DOWN. Wendy draws you into her story and will not let you go. The story and the characters and what they go through is so realistic and amazing. This isn't your average YA novel for sure, ;) They are my two new favorite books right now. Probably will be forever, Even when I'm old and can't see/read anymore, they will still be my favorite books. Anna is The main Character in this series. She is different then anyone else on earth... or so she thinks, that is until she meets Kaidan Rowe. Kaidan, oh so so many words I could use to describe him, Wendy Higgins, you know how to make them HOTT (had to have that extra T ;) ). Kaidan is by far my favorite character besides Anna. He has this bad boy thing going on that I love. He's in a band, He's the drummer, He's drop dead sexy, oh, and he has an English accent*Dies*. Just thinking about him will get your blood pumping, I can't say too much without giving away anything, but here is an little something to get your blood pumping:
"We met halfway. His lips were as hot as his eyes, sending a shock way through me. His tender mouth opened mine and I could sense the red of passion, like silk, circling us, pulling us closer. I was aware of a halfhearted battle within me, but I clambered nearer, pushing the notebook and papers to the floor. His lips broke away from mine and moved greedily down my neck. A moan escaped me at the feel of his hot breath on my skin, and it was all the encouragement he needed."
Any one else need a cold shower? Anyone else need more convincing that this is the best book ever? Kaidan is my new Book Boyfriend ;) The other characters is this series are all awesome, you get a feel of depth and you get attached very easily, even when you don't know them for long. Everything felt realistic and believable on every level. I absolutely love this series and it will be a long time before anything lives up to my standards now. Wendy Higgins knows how to keep you on the edge and just when you think you're going to fall she catches you and brings you back.
